The broad part of this Website is owned and driven by HALO (Healthy Active Living Oamaru) and its member groups. HALO is an umbrella organisation of the Waitaki Family Health Trust and is made up of many non-profit community groups with common briefs. This site is aimed to act as a one stop information shop and service map of programmes and events in our community. The website therefore contains information of local Waitaki Community Groups their events and programmes. This member organisation information is updated by the member groups who are personally responsible for the information they put onto this site. The particulars of the responsible entities can be found under the search button on the top navigation menu of the website. In this Website all information posted will be checked for appropriate content and verification that it is true and correct in nature but it is up to the individual member groups to ensure that they only enter material that is suitable to all age groups and sectors of the community.
